This year being at home for Christmas, I wanted to put something interactive on the tree. Inspired by the Tweetmas Tree from Alpha One a couple of years back I decided to do something similar, using a Raspberry Pi for processing and a couple of Arduinos for light control. The overall effect is quite pleasant as the lights fade in and out based on the volumes of tweets. On Christmas Day they were almost solid for the entire day.
The full project write up is available in the blog if you want to make your own or see how this was made.
